Nike Basketball World Media Festival Event: The Sneaker Report

Larger than life banners displaying potential members of Team USA basketball, frozen in time amid shots of signature. Mannequins wearing uniforms bearing names in different countries on the chest. Basketball litter the ground, bearing slogans such as "the celebration of local heroes" and "Embracing playing." And the tables of bold, colorful sneakers.

Sneakers strategically positioned on metal tables, hoisted on the wall displays and signs the curious eyes of the touch. Several rooms dedicated to showcasing the latest offerings in Nike style and technology of the shoe. Although there are tons of information shared and many people on site for distribution, the sneakers are the main draw for me at Nike World Media Festival basketball event. The experiment was set up the Festival surprising, but part of the unveiling of some models of kicks has been most striking.

Basically, the new zoom Hyperfuse was the focal point. Rondo was dressed in a dynamic model green playoff recent and they caused a buzz curious and casual fans irreducible. Say, lighter than the Hyperdunk, Nike sneakers incorporate the latest technological advances, Hyperfuse. The material is inspired by the Nike design team assists Chinese children playing ball in anything but basketball - including sandals - simply because they wanted durable shoes that also breathable and flexible. The HD2010 has been tight at first, but was more rapid than the shoes I've ever worn. enough space in the toebox, leaving enough space for comfort, but not so where there was a slip of the foot. Similar to GL Hyperdunk, there is an inner sleeve-FIT to keep my foot snugly. In fact, I think the shoes may have been the reason why I never stumbled near the negation of genetics and clumsiness. That's good.

The bad news I was so excited to be part of the event that I participate in organized pickup games instead of just sticking with the order, less aggressive exposure skills (word for Marcus Troy chillin on the sidelines, the nuances of balancing and Keepin 'his kicks crispy). The result?

The meanest game of streaks. Ugh. Yeah, I play hard and play to win, and apparently had all the other members of the media was there. I think that the scratches occurred as I did a drive into the hole and clearing of Urban Latino homegirl tried to stop. Tried. It does not really matter because now I have a pair of kicks dedicated to physical activity. In retrospect, makes me wish I had taken with the original Hyperfuses me because they had a design that makes a transition easier for the court streetwear ... and scratches would be covered by pair of jeans draped over the shoes. That and the fact that I would have chilled the margin anyway. It does not bode well from the outset, given the chain smoker and I was winded at the beginning, the more I have not played basketball in almost a decade. Dah well.
